Ben Godber, headteacher at Bohunt Wokingham, said he and his colleagues were extremely proud of the students and their achievements.

“They have worked incredibly hard throughout their time with us, and it’s brilliant to be celebrating with them today as they set a new bar for future year groups to emulate,” he said.

“As I say farewell to the Bohunt Wokingham community I would like to thank all our students, their families, our staff and the wider school community for their ongoing support and I am delighted that the students’ fantastic results this year show how far we have come since we opened seven years ago.

“We wish our students the best of success as they progress on to the next stage of their education and whilst we are sad that it cannot be here with us, we are thrilled that they are able to move forward on the back of such impressive achievements.”

This view was echoed by Neil Strowger, Trust Leader at Bohunt Education Trust, who said he was immensely proud of the students.

“These students have remained positive despite significant disruption to their studies during their years at secondary school.

“Their resilience, determination and hard work has resulted in so many securing the results they aspired to, allowing them to pursue their desired next steps and I wish them all the very best for their future.”
