Reading FC have confirmed their first pre-season fixture ahead of the 2026-27 campaign.
The Royals will travel to face Farnborough on Saturday, 11 July, with kick-off scheduled for 15:00 at the Saunders Transport Community Stadium.
The match will mark the first opportunity for supporters to see Reading in action ahead of the new League One season.
Farnborough, who play in National League South, announced the fixture earlier this week, describing it as part of their preparations for the new campaign.
Reading are expected to announce further pre-season matches in the coming weeks as preparations continue for their third consecutive season in League One.
The Royals are entering the summer following a season of transition both on and off the pitch, with supporters hoping for a stronger push next term under the club’s new ownership structure as they enter their second season in charge of the club.
