COLLEAGUES at Thames Valley Law firm Blandy & Blandy organised a static bikeathon on May 12, to raise funds for two local charities.
The firm, which has offices in Reading, Henley-on-Thames and Wokingham, raised over £1,300 for its adopted charities, Alexander Devine Children’s Hospice Service and Thames Valley Air Ambulance.
Colleagues cycled a collective total of 46 miles in two hours, with Mandy Williamson, the firm’s Accounts Manager, completing a marathon distance, having been sponsored by colleagues to keep peddling.

The exercise bikes were kindly provided by Reading’s Buzz Gym, located on Kings Road.
Chair and partner, Claire Dyer, said: “A huge well done to our fantastic colleagues who cycled and/or donated in aid of our charity bikeathon. “We are delighted to have raised a fantastic amount for Alexander Devine Children’s Hospice Service and Thames Valley Air Ambulance, as part of our ongoing support for both charities.”
