Many roads around Wokingham and Hurst will be closed or partially closed for the David Cliff Wokingham half marathon on Sunday.
The closures will be in place between 8am and 2pm, although organisers have said they will attempt to facilitate vehicle movements where possible in the town centre until 9am. After this time, full closures will be implemented.
Closures will be lifted in sections where the route can be isolated to protect the roads that are still in use by the runners.
Roads affected are Twyford Road, Milton Road, Glebelands Road, Rectory Road, Broad Street, Rose Street, Wiltshire Road, Bell Foundary Lane, Warren House Road, Forest Road, Maidenhead Road, The Straight Mile, Darvills Lane, Hungerford Lane, Hinton Road, Broadcommon Road and Broadcommon Lane.
Other routes affected with diversions or partial closures will be Station Road, Shute End, Broad Street, Peach Street, and Market Place.
The sold-out event which has been running annually since 1984, starts and ends at Cantley Park on Twyford Road.
No parking will be available for runners or spectators at Cantley Park. Participants are advised to use Wokingham town centre car parks and walk to the start.
