A WOKINGHAM charity dedicated to empowering disabled youngsters, celebrated 10 years of services and volunteers at Our House.
The Building for the Future (BFTF) flagship facility provides a safe, accessible space where children can take part in activities, therapies, and services tailored to their unique needs.
Volunteers, trustees and supporters all celebrated the milestone at a party with guest of honour Wokingham borough mayor Beth Rowland.

“This achievement is a testament to the unwavering support of our volunteers, trustees, and the entire community.

Since its founding in 2014, BFTF has been committed to creating a supportive and nurturing environment for disabled children and their families.
The 10th birthday party recognised the dedication of volunteers who give their time to host sessions and support the children and families who rely on Our House.
The charity’s trustees were also celebrated for their contributions in guiding the charity’s growth and development over the past decade.
As Building for the Future marks its significant milestone, the charity is appealing to its friends and supporters to consider making a birthday gift to help sustain and expand its work.
It says that donations will enable the group to continue providing free access to specialised facilities, equipment, and services, and to help ensure that no family is excluded because of financial constraints.
Individuals are also invited to become Friends of Building for the Future by pledging a regular monthly gift to help provide a stable foundation for the charity’s long-term sustainability and growth, and to enable it to reach more disabled children and families in need.
