TICKETS are now on sale for a Charity Quiz Night to raise money for a good cause.
SHARE Woodley, former Woodley Town Mayor Cllr Juliet Anderson’s Chosen Charity, distributes food, essentials, and support to those in need within the community.
Residents of Woodley will be able to put their knowledge to the test at her Mayor’s Charity Quiz Night, proceeds from which will support the organisation.
“This quiz night is about bringing the community together for a great cause,” said Cllr Juliet Anderson, former Woodley Town Mayor.
“SHARE Woodley does incredible work supporting local families, and we hope to raise vital funds while enjoying a fun and friendly evening.”
The evening promises a lively atmosphere with a cash bar, nibbles provided, and a raffle offering a variety of prizes, with all proceeds going directly to the charity. Attendees are encouraged to bring cash for raffle tickets on the night.
Cllr Anderson is also appealing for donations of raffle prizes to help maximise fundraising, and asks anyone able to contribute to contact her or Woodley Town Council.
The event will take place at the Oakwood Centre, Woodley, on Friday, October 24.
Doors open at 7pm, with the quiz starting at 7.30pm.
Tickets can be booked individually or as a table for up to eight people, via TicketSource.
They cost £6.50 per person plus a 55p booking fee.
