Twyford Village Christmas Street Fayre

London Road (from the crossroads to Jubilee Corner), 6-9pm

Twyford Together’s annual Christmas event. Over 50 stalls showcasing the best of Twyford.

Saturday 2

Twyford Snooker Club

1.30pm-4.30pm, Come and enjoy a game of snooker and refreshments in one of Twyford’s much-loved historic buildings (19 Wargrave Road) and see how this community renovation project is progressing.

Sunday 3

Christmas Recital

St James Church, 3pm

Music from The Berkshire Recorder Consort, readings and refreshments.

Monday 4

Quiz and Chips

The Duke of Wellington, 7.30pm

Your favourite festive and chart hits with a cool acoustic vibe from a group of talented Twyford musicians aged 7-18.

Christmas at The Floor Store

From 5.30pm

Join Robert and Clare for drinks, nibbles and entertainment at their Twyford showroom.

Father Christmas visit

The Duke of Wellington 3-5pm

Meet Father and Mrs. Christmas! There’s a treat in store for every child and a magical story from Mrs. Christmas. Free entry.

The Saxophone Christmas Busking Bash

Bell Corner 6.30-8pm

Windsock Music is back again this year with more cheesy Christmas goodness from their two saxophone bands, Sax Bandits and Saxcelerate. Mulled wine and minced pies will be served. Everyone welcome.

Wednesday 20

Drinks and Nibbles from Twyford Together

The Duke of Wellington

From 5.30pm, Pre-Christmas networking with other members of Twyford Together. Open to all!

Thursday 21

Christmas Family Carols

St Thomas More Church, 7pm

Family carol service followed by refreshments.

Friday 22

HaaHoos Foam Clay Fun

2-6pm Make Christmas tree decorations out of foam clay. £5 per decoration (Includes fruit squash and biscuits for the children). Mulled wine on sale for adults.

Saturday 23

Christmas Party at the Duke

From 7.30pm, Rock into Christmas at the Duke. Get your dancing shoes on and party with Karen and Paul. Live music from the ‘Jukebox Junkies’.

Christmas Eve

Crib Service

St Mary’s Church, 3.30pm

A half-hour Christmas Eve service for all the family. Children are welcome to dress up and help bring the Christmas story alive.

Come in good time to get a seat.

Carols For All

St Mary’s Church, 7pm

An hour of traditional carols, readings, reflections and prayers by candlelight to celebrate the birth of Christ.
