Access to parking at California crossroads is set to change later this week.
Wokingham Borough Council said work in phase one of the drainage works has reached a point where access to parking outside Red Oak Stores and Bob’s Fish and Chip Shop from Finchampstead Road can be reinstated.
It said: “We have ensured the car park remains accessible throughout the project and from Wednesday, April 17, access to the car park will be switched back to Finchampstead Road, and will no longer be accessible from Nine Mile Ride.
“Pedestrian access will be maintained throughout, and signs in relation to this car park will be switched to accommodate the new access arrangements.”
It added that local businesses have been made aware, and asked that local residents continue to support your local businesses throughout the project.
