A CHILDREN’S illustrator delighted young readers in the borough with his stories and sketches.
Rikin Parekh, whose latest children’s publication is Fly Tiger Fly, led a Character Drawing workshop at Wokingham Library on Valentines Day.
The fully booked session was attended by 50 people, including children, parents, and grandparents.
Rikin read his story, Fly Tiger Fly, showed youngsters how to draw some of his book characters, and took questions from the audience.
Many of the children were able to sketch impressive animals during the session, and families had the opportunity to buy a signed copy of Rikin’s book, from Fourbears bookshop in Caversham.
Parents said their children had enjoyed the event, and were looking forward to other similar workshops in the future.
