Ashridge Park hit ten goals to emphatically book their place in the first qualifying round of this season’s Adobe Women’s FA Cup.
They beat Wiltshire side Highworth Town 10-0, with Lauren Broadhurst grabbing five of the goals.
Wokingham town deputy mayor, Cllr Alwyn Jones, was guest of honour for the match, which was the first time the Women’s FA Cup had been played in the town.
He was introduced to both teams and the match officials before the match, and watched the entire game.
Ashridge Park collected £600 in competition prize money, and they will find out their next opponents later today (Monday).
