RESIDENTS of a Wokingham care home were taken by staff members to Dinton Pastures Country Park recently.
There the group enjoyed a gentle stroll by the lake to see the ducks, geese and swans.
“It was lovely to be able to come out for a few hours and enjoy the lovely sunny weather, and such beautiful surroundings,” said one of the residents, John.
After sitting in the sunshine, the group then ate at the country park cafe, where residents enjoyed choosing their favourite dish, and were made to feel very welcome.
West Oak general manager Simona Cioinac said: “We absolutely love being able to take our residents out and about to visit Dinton Pastures Country Park.
“It makes us so happy to be able to access venues like this.
“It has been a fantastic day and we’ve all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.”
