Children and families are in for a treat with the return of the Wokingham Children’s Book Festival, a celebration of storytelling, imagination and creativity.
Now in its seventh year, the festival will be held on the weekend of October 19 and October 20, with a total of 13 events featuring award-winning authors and illustrators.
Sessions will be held at Wokingham Town Hall and Wokingham Library, with a mix of book readings, crafting and singing.
Authors attending this year’s festival include A. F. Harrold, Steve Antony and Holly Webb.
Tickets will go on general sale on Monday, September 2, with early bird discount available until Sunday, September 15.

The festival is delivered by a partnership involving Wokingham Borough Council’s library service, Wokingham Town Council, Love Wokingham, more arts and dedicated volunteers.
