Tickets are on sale for the latest offering from Crowthorne Symphony Orchestra.
Its summer concert, which is set to take place on July 6 at All Saints Church in Wokingham, will feature a dramatic overture from Dame Ethel Smyth’s opera The Wreckers.
Ethel Smyth’s music has become hugely popular in recent years with several works, including The Wreckers, featuring at the Proms.
The audience will also hear Frank Bridge’s Dance Rhapsody, composed just a few years later in the early 1900s, with Elgar’s Symphony No.1 completing the programme.
The orchestra’s first two concerts at All Saints have sold out, but tickets are currently still available at the online box office.
Tickets will also be available on the door, subject to availability.
The concert will start at 7.30pm on Saturday, July 6, at All Saints Church on Wiltshire Road in Wokingham.
