CATTLE in a field in Winnersh were moved in what police believe to be an attempted robbery.
Overnight on Wednesday (16), someone forced the lock on a gate to a field in Woodward Close. The cattle in the field ere then moved into another field.
Track marks in the field show that a vehicle may have been used in an attempt to steal the livestock.
Anyone who saw or heard anything suspicious in the area around this time should call the Thames Valley Police enquiry centre on 101.
