WEEKEND PREVIEW: Sumas face tough trip, Rockets back at Bohunt

WOKINGHAM AND EMMBROOK travel to league leaders Penn and Tylers Green looking to extend their fine run of form to three games unbeaten tomorrow.

After a slow start, Sumas have beaten high-flying Woodley United and drawn away to Bicester Town in recent weeks, but face another tough test.

Penn and Tylers sit top of Hellenic Division One East with eight win and two draws from their 10 matches, conceding just five goals along the way.

But Sumas could jump up to sixth with a win at Elm Road.

Elsewhere, WOODLEY UNITED and FINCHAMPSTEAD will try again to complete their Berks and Bucks Intermediate Cup clash.

The pair were due to meet last Saturday at Finch’s Memorial Ground only for the game to be rained off.

to Highworth Town tomorrow.

The Moles are unbeaten in three after Grant Kemp’s goal earned them a draw against Oxford City Nomads last week, but they have not won a Hellenic Premier Division match since beating Thatcham Town in September.

And they will have to be at their best to take all three points from fourth placed Highworth.

“I went to watch them the other week and they’re a formidable outfit,” said Binfield boss Roger Herridge.

“They’re big, they’re strong, they’ve got all the right types of players in all the right types of places and they’ve got a real goal threat.

“We’ll have to go down there and be resolute in our defending but I see no reason why we can’t go down there and get some sort of result.”
