Home Counties Division One

WOKINGHAM stay stuck in eighth position after their home loss to third placed Aston Rowant.

After rain had disrupted the start of the match, it was the visitors who elected to bat first.

They totalled 187 runs from 48 overs as Wokingham bowlers Shaan Khan and Max Uttley both took three wickets each.

Sukhmeet Kang scored highest for the Oaks with the bat, but their chase fell short as Aston had them all out for 115 to seal a 73-run win.

WARGRAVE remain in second place after they four wicket success against Banbury.

With a score of 118 to beat to win the match, Josh Lincoln (36*) and Sam Bowers (31*) guided Wargrave over the line.

FINCHAMPSTEAD collected 20 points on the road with a one wicket win at Slough.

Three wickets each from Chris Britz and Samm Daniel helped to remove Slough all out for 210.

Finch surpassed the total with one wicket to spare to take the game.

 

BCM Championship

EMMBROOK AND BEARWOOD strengthened their push at the top of the table with their 11th win of the campaign.

A half century from Jack Narraway and 71 not out from Jake David saw the Bears amass 209 runs before they were all out.

Andy Robertson claimed four wickets and David Healey took three to see Penn & Tylers all out on 139 to secure a 70-run victory for Emmbrook.

WEST READING totalled a big score to take an away victory at Ley Hill.

Haaris Mushtaq hit a century for West Reading before four wickets from Jibran Ahmed guided them to a 79-run triumph.

CROWTHORNE & CROWN WOOD got the better of SHINFIELD by two wickets.

Amit Rawal totalled a century for Shinfield, but it was the Crows who got over the line with two wickets in hand.

 

BCL Division One

WALTHAM ST LAWRENCE climbed up to second position with a 38-run win over Calcot.

READING LIONS collected 35 points with victory against Welford Park.

EARLEY added 35 points to their total by claiming victory over Silchester.

WEST READING 3s lost out away to Checkendon.
