CHEESE and wine is one of the attractions to Woodley Town Council’s annual meeting, which will be held next month.
The event is an opportunity for residents to find out more about what has been happening within the town over the past 12 months, raise concerns and make statements or suggestions on relevant issues.
There will also be a presentation on the climate emergency. This will be given by Wokingham Borough Council’s Climate Emergency Team, which will also provide information on what residents can do to help tackle the crisis.
And there will also be presentations to community heroes, as nominated by the residents of Woodley.
It takes place from 7pm on Thursday, May 23, at the Oakwood Centre in Headley Road.
