LOWER Earley Library is to host a Family Fun Day in July.
Visitors to the event will find a range of stalls showcasing local community initiatives including Dr Bike, Age Concern and Guide Dogs Trust.
Cyclists will be able to get their bikes checked, and potentially repaired for free, and young learners can sign up for a Summer Reading Challenge.
The local Fire Service will also be attending the event, bringing with them a fire engine for visitors to explore.
Organisers say the family fun day will be a great opportunity to engage with the community.
Libraries are about much more than books, they say – they are also a hub for connecting residents with local resources.
The event will take place at Lower Earley Library, on Friday, July 25, from 10am until noon
Dr Bike slots can be booked online, at: eventbrite.co.uk (search for FREE Dr Bike Surgery).
