A GROUP that seeks to protect wildlife in Wokingham is asking people to donate their old mugs for wild bees.
Wokingham In Bloom needs around 50 mugs for their project involving borough school children, which they say will help to preserve Wokingham’s wild bee population.
Unwanted mugs can be dropped off to a box inside the Wokingham Town Hall entrance, opposite WHSmith.
The group says that not only will the project benefit wild bees, it is also a good way to re-use standard household items.
Mugs can be dropped off until Thursday, June 22.
