EASTER was celebrated at a new retirement housing complex in Wokingham with – what else? – an egg hunt.
The chocolate treats were hidden around the new McCarthy Stone development of Oakingham Place on Reading Road, bringing together grandparents, parents and children.
There was a grand prize for the finder of the most hidden treats in and around the development.
Older guests could enjoy some bubbly, homemade hot cross buns, and take in tours of the new site.
Sam Burley, divisional sales director at McCarthy Stone, said: “Fostering links with the communities close to our developments is a key focus for us – and what better time to do that than at Easter?
“It was a pleasure to welcome families to our beautiful development here in Wokingham and celebrate the Easter festivities during a time that is so often associated with new beginnings.
“Many retirees may be considering their own new beginnings, so it was a delight to offer a glimpse into the vibrant lifestyle at Oakingham Place.”
