AUDIENCE members keen to plan ahead can buy earlybird tickets for a concert to be held in Wokingham.
Crowthorne Symphony Orchestra’s November programme will include music from guest flautist Camille Curtis.
This is the second season for the orchestra, following the group’s successful move to Wokingham.
Their concert will include Jacques Ibert Flute Concerto, described as fabulous, flamboyant and French, and Tchaikovsky’s Capriccio Italienne, along with music from English composers Malcolm Arnold and Arthur Bliss.
“Our musical director Robert Roscoe has once again put together a concert to appeal to audience and orchestra alike,” said orchestra member and viola player Hilly Beavan.
“There’s a mix of familiar, and less well known works, to discover.
“And there’s lots to look forward to later in the season, too, with the famous Saint Saëns Organ Symphony (which you might recognise as the theme from the film Babe), next March, and an American themed concert in the summer.”
Crowthorne Symphony Orchestra’s next concert takes place at All Saints Church, Wokingham, on Saturday, November 23, at 7.30pm.
Tickets at an earlybird price of £15, are available until October 6, when the price rises to £17.
Under 18s enter free of charge.
