A BOROUGH church, whose members include familes from Hong Kong, will be celebrating Lunar New Year.
Visitors to Finchampstead Baptist Church (FBC) on Sunday morning will notice decorations in the centre cafe.
Hong Kongers will be co-hosting the church’s morning service, leading Cantonese songs, a quiz, and writing blessings for the year.
These are an important part of Lunar New Year celebrations and are put up around people’s houses for the year ahead.
After the service, people can enjoy Chinese tea and Cantonese snacks , and learn how to make Chinese lanterns.
The event takes place at Finchampstead Baptist Community Centre, on Sunday, February 11.
The service starts at 10.30am, all are welcome.
