We are now less than two weeks until the big day.
Last week, we covered our local movement specialist Ian Lewis Davies and the amazing work he does getting people moving efficiently and as well as possible.
We also covered my unique coaching method that is THERAPYCISE and five tips / tactics that you could use to skyrocket your December. Just to recap, let’s run through those points again:
- Don’t take your foot off the gas, keep pushing on.
- Don’t wait until 2020 to start your 2020 goals.
- Set one audacious goal for 2020 and start planning some small steps right now.
- Do something different every day up until Xmas Day.
- Buy a book to read between now and Christmas Day and get reading.
I’m not going to go into detail about all those points but if you go online and find last week’s article from The Wokingham Paper website you’ll find the article and all the points are explained fully there.
To give you a heads up, just get started on thinking about your 2020 goals now and then start taking some small steps to implementing those goals…every result and every dream starts with that first step.
- Book the course.
- Read the book.
- Complete the YouTube online course.
- Make the phone call.
- Setup the accountability group.
- Email someone who is vital to your success.
There are infinite options but the first step starts with YOU. Why don’t you start with something today? Maybe that first step could be reading last week’s article and then going from there? You decide…
So, this week, I want to cover one last fitness professional to end the year doing what I love, which is promoting opportunities for you to be the best version of yourself. This last fitness professional really does stand out from the crowd. In part, this is due to his bright blue Mohican that he sports on the top of his head but there is much more to the head honcho of Be Wright Fit than just the hair.
I have known Pete for some time and we have co-worked on a mental health and anti-suicide Facebook page for over a year now. Time 4 Change (Down but not out) is a Facebook page where we post videos twice a week on a Tuesday and Thursday and hold weekly drop-ins for anyone that wants a chat between the hours of 12-1 on those days.
You can pop in, have a chat, and drop us a message and we will help you work through whatever issues you may have. Look us up…sometimes knowing that there is someone out there willing to listen can be the first step to successful treatment and moving forward in life.
Back to Pete, he runs Be Wright Fit based out of the Fox Den on Reading Road near Woosehill roundabout. The facility is great and quite unique actually, I remember when he first opened it some time ago and I knew from the moment I walked in, it would be a success.
Similar to my facility, it’s completely private which means it’s only ever Pete in there, you will get his complete attention, and this is something missing from the health and fitness industry but also life in general.
How often have you been talking to someone and they then get distracted by something?
Well, you won’t get this with Pete, he believes in the same philosophy as me … personal training involves two people with complete undivided attention, in that time, it is all about being present and giving complete focus to the client, with focus comes clarity and with clarity … you get results.
I dropped in last week and like previous weeks had a few questions for our profession of choice so here we go … what did Pete have to say for himself?
I asked Pete why he does what he does and his response even got me super motivated. Pete said, “Life is for enjoying, not for constantly having to fight illness and feeling like crap, you have one shot in this body so you better make the best of it. You deserve to be better for you, your kids and your grandkids.”
Pete is a parent himself just like me and whenever I hear other professionals talking this way, it just makes me want to be the absolute best version of me too.
I next asked Pete about his very special teen classes. Be Wright Fit is one of the few places around the area that specifically caters for teens.
In fact, I have referred several of my younger clients to Pete over the last few years when they needed some awesome teen classes. He has been running his classes for a while now and I wanted to know what the benefits are for the kids and young adults that attend them.
If you are a parent reading this then his answer should get you to pick up the phone and give him a call:
“As a teenager, your body is changing in so many ways, it helps to be around lots of other teens working out and gaining confidence pushing yourself in a safe, motivating environment.
“I offer several classes that I know help this brilliant yet misunderstood part of the population. Boxfit, Yoga, Circuits, Teenbox and one-to-one just gives the teens something in their life to really work on. I love working with them and helping them be the best they can be, I’m a parent and a coach so really do care for the awesome kids and teens that I work with.”
See what I mean?
That’s passion.
That’s drive.
That is why you get in contact with Pete.
It’s one of the reasons I started the Time 4 Change page with him some time ago…its people like Pete that grow you, its people like Pete that give you energy, it is people like Pete that help make the world better so he for sure gets the FUNdaMENTAL Coach seal of approval for this last slot of the year. Give him a call if you want to discuss one-to-one personal training, teen classes, kid’s classes, online training or boxing training…you won’t regret it.
That’s a wrap for today…get involved in ending the year on a high, get involved in making YOU a priority because at the end of the day, you are the longest commitment and just know…YOU ARE ENOUGH.
Have an awesome week and see you next Thursday week for the last article before Christmas, I have a very special present waiting for YOU and you will not want to miss it ☺
