An auction is set to take place on Saturday (June 28) at an Earley social club that is set to close its doors for the last time after 45 years.
The Our Land of Peace social club on Wokingham Road in Earley is set to sell a wide variety of items at the sale next weekend.
In a statement on social media, the club said: “As you can imagine, we have accumulated all manner of items during that period.
“Now it’s time to dispose of our assets. Everything must go.
“We have lots of stuff to sell to the highest bidder, mostly with no reserve.
“We’ve got glassware, tableware, furniture including chairs, tables and settles, beers, wines, spirits, curtains, pictures, TV and stereo system, ice maker, Christmas decorations and more.”
The auction will take place at the OLOP club at 338 Wokingham Road, on Saturday, June 28, at 12.30pm.
The club will open for registration and viewing from 10 am in advance of the auction, and there will be an advance viewing session on Wednesday, June 25, from 3.30pm until 6pm
At each of the viewing sessions, you will have the opportunity to place a commission bid if you are unable to attend the auction itself.
All goods purchased must be paid for before collection. Cash and cards are accepted and, unless pre-arranged, items must be removed from the premises by 4pm on Sunday, June 29.
