Time is running out to secure your tickets for an event to mark International Women’s Day at Wokingham town hall next week.
The event, which will be hosted by Wokingham town mayor Lou Timlin, is set to take place on Thursday, March 12, between 7pm and10pm
Tickets are £5and available from www.ticketsource.co.uk/louise-timlin. This includes a glass of fizz or a soft drink. There will also be a raffle, and time to mingle
Three remarkable speakers will be sharing their stories of courage, purpose and transformation
These include Vickie Robertson from Kaleidoscopic, Annette Medhurst from Wokingham Foodbank, and Debs Morrison from CLASP.
Lou told Wokingham Today: “We’re also delighted to welcome local poet Fiona Dignan, who will be reading a poem written especially for the event
“Come for the inspiration, stay for the stories, and leave feeling lifted.”
