PEOPLE living with dementia can enjoy a monthly cafe organised by Berkshire Music Trust and AgeUKBerkshire.
Sessions include singing followed by a chat and refreshments.
Singing cafes can relieve pain, enhance memories and reignite emotions.
Participants can have fun whilst working on sequencing, organisation skills and balance, and simply having fun singing with friends and family.
Places for the Dementia ‘Memory Lane’ cafe can be booked through AgeUKBerkshire, and cost a suggested donation of £5.
It takes place, during term time, at Berkshire Music Trust, Reading Music Centre, Tilehurst, and at The Cornerstone, Wokingham, both locations are on a Friday, from 10.30am until noon.
