AN ORGANISATION that supports young people and their families in financial difficulty, is holding a fun walking event this month.
First Days Children’s Charity’s Pumpkin Trail will enable families to walk around a local beauty spot, where a number of pumpkin posters have been planted.
The 2k trail takes people through The Swinley Forest in Bracknell.
As children spot the pumpking posters, they can discover letters, which together spell a secret word.
To take part, families can purchase a map from the forest’s Discovery Centre.
Once they have completed the trail, they can head back to the centre to receive a treat.
The charity says that it will be a great opportunity for some half term outdoors entertainment,
The event has been organised by First Days in conjunction with Bracknell Forest Council, with treats sponsored by Alexandra Grange care home.
It runs from Saturday, October 21 through to Sunday, October 29.
Maps to take part can be purchased for £3 from The Lookout Discovery Centre.
