Kingfisher A put some daylight between them and the chasers in Division One with an expected and convincing 10-0 win away to Sonning Sports A.

Kingfisher B scored a 7-3 win over club rivals Kingfisher C with excellent maximums for Julian Telford and Rajan Waterman.

Sonning Common & Peppard A make up the likely top three come the end of the season with a 10-0 drubbing of their D team, the trio of Ed Lush, Ian Cole and Gary Morgan inflicting the damage.

Elsewhere a close encounter between Kingfisher D at home to Tilehurst RBL A ended 4-6 in favour of the visitors.

No player remained unbeaten on the night as Georgi Ivanov came from behind to beat Keith Winter in five sets, a feat expertly matched by Mike Douglas over Marc Brent. Some more tight games were witnessed at Sonning Common and Peppard as their B team fell 3-7 to Tidmarsh A.

Dale Ballard willed the visitors to a 13-11 11-9 8-11 9-11 13-11 win over Daniel Artene as Tom Astle inspired the home team to a 7-11 12-10 11-9 7-11 13-11 victory over Lee Calcutt. Less trouble for Duncan Groves though as he remained unbeaten.
