AN EVENT for bicycle enthusiasts will take place in Finchamstead in August.
Anyone keen to improve their cycling skills, have their bike checked or to get advice on cycle helmets should head to a Summer Bike Bonanza organised by MyJourneyWokingham.
Activities and demonstrations will include: balance and pedal bikes, Dr Bike bicycle checks, Pedalicious (a pedal powered smoothie bike), cycle skills, and Bike Limbo.
Family ride sessions will be led by cycle instructors, Thames Valley Headway will offer advice and demonstration on cycle helmets, and active travel resources will be available, including walking and cycling maps.
The event takes place at the track behind the FBC Centre, Finchampstead, on Wednesday, August 9, from 11am until 3pm.
