A NEW community project will help youngsters stay occupied this summer, giving parents some much-needed time off.
Shinfield Parish Council is launching its Friday Funday on July 28, which will feature pop-up soft play and other fun activities for children to get engrossed with.
Sessions will then take place every Friday in August.
Organisers welcome optional voluntary contributions and ask that parents and carers supervise their children at all times.
Sessions run from 11am-2pm at the School Green Centre.
