A national outage has hit BT customers leaving many facing problems with both their broadband and phone services.
The telephony giant tweeted earlier today that it is working on a fix:
Sorry if you’re experiencing network problems. Engineers are on site now. We will keep you updated

According to BBC News, a spokesman said: “It is true that we are down at the moment. We are aware of the problems and are working on them as fast as we can.” The problems have been reported across the country and many users have taken to Twitter to share their woes.
