Ascot Racecourse’s final race meeting to the year marks the start of the festive season with the Howden Christmas Racing Weekend.

This December, Ascot offers two days of high-quality jumps racing and seasonal entertainment for all ages, to get friends, families and colleagues alike into the Christmas spirit.

The meeting is a valuable part of Ascot’s Jumps calendar, commencing with a quality Jumps card featuring the Grade 2 Howden Noel Novices’ Chase – previous years have seen the likes of Simonsig and Politologue win this exhilarating race. Friday concludes with the Listed Bumper to cap off a great day on the track.

The action continues, with Saturday’s card headlined by the prestigious Grade 1 long-distance Howden Long Walk Hurdle. Expect a weekend of sensational racing with six Jumps races on both days accompanied by Christmas jubilance off the track.

Alongside the action on the track, racegoers can look forward to a full program of Christmas activities designed for all guests to celebrate the start of the season. Families with children can enjoy story time sessions with Mrs Christmas, arts and crafts workshops, facepainting and the chance to meet Father Christmas’ reindeer.
