FAMILIES looking for some outdoor fun during half term can purchase a map and search for 60 scarecrows waiting to be discovered in a borough village.
The Binfield Scarecrow Hunt is open to all ages, and can be completed on one day or over several.
The total walk is expected to last around two and a half hours.
Refreshments can be purchased from The Foxes’ Den community cafe, Daphne’s Coffee Shop, and Binfield Village Stores, all of which sell the scarecrow trail maps.
Further snacks and drinks are available from the village Co-op, The Victoria Arms, and The Stag and Hounds pubs.
The event will continue whatever the weather.
Maps cost £3 each and are available from The Foxes’ Den, Daphne’s Coffee Shop, and Binfield Village Stores on the days the hunt is open.
The event takes place from Saturday, October 21 through to Sunday, October 29, from 9am until 6pm each day.
All funds raised will go to support the work of The Church Care Project, which helps to renovate and repair local church buildings.
