A LOCAL group are looking to put their best foot forward when it holds a charity barn dance.
The Inner Wheel Club of Reading Maiden Erlegh has been fundraising for The Survivors of Bereavement by Suicide and Macmillan Cancer Support and will be holding the fun event on Saturday, November 9.
It follows on from its recent successful Charity Bridge Tea held at Charvil Village Hall.
For the band dance, music will come from the JIP Band, and the £15 tickets include a two-course supper.
The fun starts at 7.15pm and supporters should bring their own drinks.
For more details, or to book, call Jackie on 01252 626599.
The Inner Wheel Club of Reading Maiden Erlegh is also helping the Rotary Club of Reading Maiden Erlegh with its annual Charity Art Fair in aid of Thames Valley Air Ambulance.
Leighton Park School is the venue for the event which runs over the weekend of October 26-27 from 10am-5pm.
The Inner Wheel will be serving cakes and refreshments at this free entry event. P
