When you read the word railway I don’t expect your first thought are stations, bridges, signalboxes,
embankments, viaducts, tunnel portals and all the other artefacts that dot our landscape.
There are thousands of them and Mark Casson of Reading University will show some of the most interesting at the next meeting of the Wokingham Methodist Railway and Transport Club on Tuesday, May 21 at 7.45pm in the Bradbury Centre, Rose Street.
For details, call me, Jim Dunning, programme organiser, on 0118 977 1754.
