THERE are lots of opportunities to share a love of reading in Wokingham.
Book clubs for adults meet at Wokingham Library and online at various times during the week.
At the library, in Carnival Hub, a group meets on the third Wednesday of the month, from 10.30am to 11.30am, and on the first Friday of the month, from 10am until 11am.
Another club meets on the third Wednesday afternoon from 2pm until 3.30pm.
To discuss new books, bestsellers and favourites, sessions take place in person on the third Tuesday of the month from 10.30am until 11.30am, and on the last Wednesday of the month, also from 10.30am until 11.30am.
In the Leisure Centre foyer outside the library on the second Monday of the month from 6pm until 7pm a friendly book group meets to discuss modern fiction with the odd classic and non-fiction title thrown in.
A group for visually impaired readers VIPs (sighted readers welcome too) meets at the library on the third Friday of the month from 2.15pm until 3.30pm.
And a classics book club for lovers of Dickens, Austen and the Brontes meets virtually, with details available from Wokingham Library.
