Reading are looking to build on their March success and secure Championship survival, but first they must get past Hull City.
Manager Jose Gomes insisted his side are fully focused head of what will be a busy and crucial month for his side.
“It is a long month regarding the number of games we have. We start on Saturday and in 21 days we have six games so we must put focus on the next one and hopefully it will be as good as March,” said Gomes.
“We want to resolve our problem as soon as possible, it always depends on what other clubs can do but I believe if we can do well in the next game that we will be very near to solving the problem.
The Royals are away at Hull City this weekend, a team that has boasted some impressive home form having been unbeaten in the last ten matches at the KCOM stadium.
“The only way to get good results is to put our focus to the maximum and we can in the next challenge and the next challenge is Hull City,” continued Gomes.
“It will be another tough game and we must be ready to stop their strongest points and believe it will be possible to explore their weak points.”

Reading will be without captain Paul McShane who picked up an Achilles injury for their away trip this Saturday, but Gomes is hopeful that Mo Barrow, John Swift and Nelson Oliveira will be available.
“Nelson worked very well during the week, we have one more training tomorrow but hopefully he will be okay.
“He’s really an example considering the serious injuries he has had this season, but he was the most positive person, it could have been very serious but after one week he wanted to play even against the doctor’s advice.
“Barrow did not train all the week, just part of the week but I think he will be ready to be an option.
“Swift, I’m not sure but we’ll see tomorrow.”
Gomes was full of praise for his players and the general atmosphere around the club after crucial victory against an inform Preston team last Saturday but insisted that there is still a lot of work to be done.
“After the game there is no time to celebrate. I said after the Leeds game that we lost that we have no time to cry, and I said to the players when we won that we have no time to celebrate, said Gomes.
“I’m not a magician, I arrived and I shared my ideas with the players and thank god I have very talented and intelligent players that accept my ideas. The players have been doing really amazing work and have been showing they really want to help the club run away from this position.
“The team dynamic and spirit is stronger and they have already proved that in a lot of games and without this spirit they couldn’t win.
