Bracknell Foodbank has today hailed The Lexicon’s community appeal, Roll into Christmas, a huge success, as the local charity took delivery of more than 1,200 packs of toilet paper.
Tom Henderson, centre director at The Lexicon, said: “We have been blown away by the generosity of our local community.
“Donations were received from our retailers, visitors, partners, local schools and care homes, proving what we can achieve when we all pull together.”
Liz Fourie, Bracknell Foodbank manager, added: “This amazing donation will really help local families, as it is often the basic necessities that are needed most.
“A huge thank you to everyone that donated.”
