WITH Christmas and New Year over, people might be tempted to settle down for a quiet month.
But there’s more fun to be enjoyed yet.
Wokingham Town Council is organising a special event in the town to celebrate the Lunar New Year.
It will include Chinese music, dancing, arts and crafts, Asian street food, and a traditional lion dance.
Denmark Street will be closed throughout the day, and drivers may wish to adapt their travel plans.
The event will take place in Market Place, on Sunday, February 18.
Celebrations are from 11am until 3pm, with a Lion Dance performed at both noon, and 2pm.
