CLASSIC car enthusiasts will be counting the days until next month’s motor spectacular.
Wokingham Lions Classic Motor Show 2024 is just a few weeks away, and follows on from the club’s successful first show two years ago.
This year the group says there will be a mix of 120 classic, unusual, and interesting cars, motorcycles and other vehicles on display.
Wokingham Lions’ Bob DuGard heads the Motor Show team.
He said: “This year will be even bigger and better than in 2022.
“Visitors will be able to see vehicles driving through Wokingham Town Centre, where they will converge on Elms Field prior to the event start.
“There will be a wide range of motors, including a 1920’s Bullnose Morris, a more modern Aston Martin, along with the odd Harley Davidson and Triumph.”
Trophies will be given to the exhibits judged best in a number of categories.
People can also enjoy live music, a motor-themed raffle, and for the children, a magician and a lion hunt.
Refreshments will be available to buy from selected food and drink vendors.
The event will take place at Elms Field, Wokingham, on Saturday, June 15, from 10am until 3pm.
Wokingham Lions Club thanks event sponsors, Clifton Ingram, Wokingham MOT & Service Centre, Bulldog Triumph, Lind Harley Davidson, Trimmania, Wokingham Tyres & MOT, Total Tyre Company & Triple C Paintwork for their support.
Additional sponsorship opportunities are still available.
