IN JANUARY Wokingham will be hosting the first of its volunteer fairs this year.
Designed to introduce people to local charities and organisations keen to offer them roles, the event is free to attend.
A variety of different organisations will be looking for all kinds of volunteers, so whether people are interested in gardening, befriending or driving, there will be opportunities for everyone, say Wokingham Volunteer Centre organisers.
Charity representatives will be on hand to explain their organisations, and the roles they are seeking to fill.
The event will take place at Wokingham Town Hall tomorrow, Saturday, from 10am until 1pm.
There is no need to book, and people can just turn up.
