THE DATE for the annual Swallowfield Show has been announced.
Taking place over the August Bank Holiday weekend, the popular event will feature a host of family-friendly entertainment.
In the main arena there will be displays from world champion trials bike rider Steve Colley and the return of the popular sheep racing event The Lamb National.
Children will enjoy a visit from Quirks animal roadshow, a fun fair and a Punch and Judy show, while there will also be a craft and a food marquee, plus all the entries in the horticultural show’s various contests.
The dog show will also be returning.
The fun takes place at Swallowfield Park in Church Road on Sunday, August 26 and Monday, August 27 between 10am and 5.30pm. Entry is £8 per adult and family tickets are available, it is possible to book online.
