Thames Valley Police are appealing for witnesses following an assault in Bracknell on the football between Nando’s and Blue’s Smokehouse at the Lexicon.
The incident took place between 8pm and 8:15pm yesterday (Tuesday).
A man in his forties was threatened by a man who was holding a bladed weapon. The victim was punched numerous times and sustained an injury to his arm.
The suspect is described as white, around 5ft8in tall, of slim build, with brown medium length hair which was slicked back.
He was wearing blue denim shorts and no shirt, but used a black t-shirt to cover his face during some of the incident.
PC Molly Clague, based at Bracknell police station, said: “I am appealing for anyone who was in the area at the time of the assault and saw what happened or saw anyone matching the description of the suspect to please contact us.
“I am particularly keen to hear from anyone who was visiting Nando’s around the time of the incident. There is a glass wall facing out onto the location of the assault and I believe people who were in Nando’s at the time may have seen what happened.
