WOKINGHAM Town Council mayor Sally Gurney’s chosen charity of the year will be the focus of an event in the town.
Berkshire Search And Rescue Dogs (BSARD) is a fully qualified Lowland Rescue team of volunteers.
They, and their canine colleagues, are on call 24 hours a day, 365 days a year to help police to search for high risk vulnerable missing people.
People can find out more about the organisation, and meet some of the dogs and their owners at a coffee morning fund raiser.
All proceeds will go to BSARD.
The coffee morning takes place at Cafe Mosaic, at the Bradbury Centre, Peach Place, on Friday, February 9, from 10am until noon.
