In 1971 Brazil faces the tightening grip of military dictatorship.

Amid a backdrop of forced disappearences and frightening military interventions, the family’s touching and true story tells of their resilience despite the terrors.
I’m Still Here, directed by Walter Salles, and shown with subtitles, can be seen at The Whitty Theatre, Luckley Road, on Thursday, May 22.
Doors open at 6.45pm, with the film starting at 7.30pm.
