A LOCAL group dedicated to volunteering and helping others, will hear from a representative of the charity Understanding Dementia.
The Wokingham branch of Mothers’ Union will listen to a talk about how to lessen the impact of dementia.
The group meets in the De Vitre room at Wokingham’s Cornerstone Building on the fourth Wednesday of each month, with the exception of December and August.
Meetings start at 7.45pm, and enjoy a range of talks on a variety of topics.
The group welcomes non-members as visitors who are asked to contribute a modest fee.
The dementia talk will take place at the Cornerstone on Wednesday, September 13, time to be advised.
