A FASHION retailer has launched a recruitment campaign as it makes final preparations to open in Peach Place.
Oliver Bonas is looking for staff to enable it to start trading in the new town centre location, however the company is still talking to Wokingham Borough Council.
Cllr Chris Bowring, deputy executive member for regeneration, told The Wokingham Paper: “We are aware that Oliver Bonas are advertising for staff and can confirm we have been in discussions with them about a unit at Peach Place.
“They are a great lifestyle brand and offer an impressive range of fashion, accessories and homeware.
“We believe Oliver Bonas would be a fantastic addition to the town centre and an excellent complement to the other independent and national stores already in the town centre.”
He added: “Wokingham continues to buck the national trend and remains a very attractive destination to trade.
“The new square looks fantastic, new businesses have already opened up and are gathering a strong local following with more names set to open or be announced soon.”
