THAMES Valley Police is appealing for witnesses to a road traffic collision which left a man with serious injuries in Reading.
A black Hackney Carriage taxi and a pedestrian, a man in his sixties, were involved in a collision on Woking Road, near Maiden Erlegh Drive, at around 12.20pm on Friday, June 2.
The incident left the pedestrian with serious injuries, and he remains in a stable condition in hospital.
No arrests have been made.
Investigating officer PC Thomas Dickinson, of the Joint Operations Roads Policing Unit, said: “This collision, which has left a man seriously injured, happened in the middle of the day on a very busy main road so I am sure there were many witnesses who we are yet to speak to.
“I would appeal any witnesses or anyone who may have dash-cam or CCTV footage to contact us by calling 101 or reporting via our website, quoting reference number 43230242025.
