A police helicopter was sent up after a Co-op store was reportedly robbed in Shinfield on Saturday evening.
Officers were called to the incident at a Co-op on Hyde End Road in Shinfield on Saturday. The National Police Air Service helicopter was also deployed to assist with the search.
Initial reports suggested the robbery may have involved a weapon, although this was not immediately confirmed by police. The helicopter later left the area after assisting officers on the ground.
Thames Valley Police have not confirmed whether any arrests have been made.
