A BOROUGH church is hosting a Friday service as part of World Day of Prayer.
The Woosehill Church gathering, part of a national prayer call, has been planned by women from Palestine.
“The service focuses on different groups each year,” said prayer coordinator at Woosehill, Lynn Smith.
“It seems very poignant that this year it is being led by people from Palestine.”
The prayer service will be followed by an opportunity to chat over tea and coffee.
The event takes place at Woosehill Church, on Chestnut Avenue, on Friday, March 1, at 10.30am.
